Table of Contents
Dashboards are used to customize the homepage (RT Overview) for a case handler by adding searches, graphs, and components. You can access or create multiple dashboards, but you only have one homepage.
Example of a dashboard set as homepage:
View your available dashboards
By clicking on Settings (1) -> RT at a glance (2), you will see your dashboards. If the Edit Dashboard (3) button is visible, you have the right to edit it.
Edit dashboard
To edit a dashboard, you need to either click on Edit Dashboard or Content within the dashboard you wish to change.
You can add saved searches or other components by dragging them to the desired box (either Body or Sidebar). You can read about how to create new searches here.
New dashboard
Under Reports -> New Dashboard you can create new dashboards.
Here you can give it a descriptive Name (1), and change the visibility under Privacy (2). The privacy setting determines which group this dashboard will be visible in. Set this to My dashboards if you want it to be available only to yourself.
Click on Create (3) when you are ready.
Then click on Content to edit the new dashboard.
Here, you can drag the searches and components you want into the new dashboard. Components in Body are added to the left column of the dashboard, while components in Sidebar are added to the right column of the dashboard.
Dashboard as homepage
You can set any dashboard as the homepage (RT at a glance). This can be done by clicking on RT at a glance in Settings, and then clicking Set as Homepage on a dashboard. You can find the same menu by clicking on the gear icon at the top right of your homepage.
