Find the bulk update page
- Click on a search or create a new one.
- Click on Bulk Update at the top right of the page
You will now see a list of tickets that are automatically checked. By checking the box at the top left, you can choose which tickets you want to update:
Update tickets
The first field you see below the list of tickets gives you the option to change the queue, owner, and status. When you click Update the tickets will be updated with the changes made in these fields.
Note: Changes made in all the fields described below will be included when you click the Update button. This includes responses and flexible fields.
Respond or comment
It is possible to attach a response or a comment to all selected tickets. Remember to choose which one you want to do.
Once you have written an appropriate response or comment, you can click on Update to update all tickets. See the previous screenshot.
Custom fields
It is possible to change the flexible field for the tickets. Here you have two columns:
- Add values - Mark the value that these tickets should have for this field. If the field can have multiple values, you can mark several.
- Remove values - If some or all of the tickets already have values, you can remove these while adding the values you choose in Add values.
Click on Update when you are done filling out.

Book a Zoom meeting
Students and employees can book a Zoom meeting with UiO Helpdesk. Available hours are Tuesday to Thursday between 11:00 and 13:00.
