We wish to support initiatives at departmental level that can enhance gender balance among staff in permanent academic positions, as well as in study programmes where one gender is under-represented. Please refer to the faculty’s action plan (pdf in Norwegian - extended until further notice).?

Applications must briefly explain the need and how the funds will be used. It is assumed that the department contributes an amount matching the sum applied for. Once the funds have been spent, a concise report on their use must be submitted to the faculty.
The faculty will prioritise measures aimed at qualifying women for promotion to professor.
