More about Statkraft

We operate in over 20 countries, with a team of over 6,000 employees.

How to improve your chances of working with us

We look for students who are passionate about renewable energy, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to a more sustainable future. To strengthen your application, we recommend gaining relevant experience through internships, student projects, or exchange programmes (ideally within energy, sustainability, or technology fields). Strong academic results, good collaboration skills, and a proactive attitude are highly valued.

Most student roles require that you are actively enrolled in higher education, typically at bachelor’s or master’s level. We offer summer internships, project work, thesis collaboration, and an international trainee programme for graduates. You can also meet us through campus career fairs, case competitions, and industry events, or by following Statkraft on LinkedIn.

This is what it is like to be newly hired in our company

At Statkraft, new hires are welcomed through our structured onboarding journey, the Statkraft Go Program, which covers everything from practical setup to role-specific guidance and cultural integration. You’ll be supported by your manager, HR, and a dedicated buddy to help you settle in.

We also offer an International Trainee Programme for recent graduates, featuring international rotations and tailored development. Throughout your first year, regular check-ins support your growth. We expect new hires to be curious, collaborative, and take ownership of their development while contributing to our sustainability goals.
