We also started the Pediatric Quiz in week 12. So far, 46 students have signed up, but last week only 12 students completed the quiz. This is a valuable learning tool, and we strongly encourage more students to start using it.

Welcome to Sex & samfunn!
We would like to welcome you to Sex og Samfunn for your gyn outpatient clinic. At Sex og Samfunn we welcome people of all genders and sexuality. Our slogan is “freedom from shame, freedom to choose”, and it is important for us that our clinic is a place where everyone can feel safe.
When you arrive here, we will have you all change into a uniform top (you will need to wear your own pants and shoes). Depending on when you arrive, we will try to give you a tour around the clinic and a small introduction before the first patients arrive. You will be assigned to a doctor or nurse, and halfway through the practice, you will swap places with another student. This way we hope to show you as...
There is still no class representative or deputy for module 6 for the Spring semester of 2026. If you know of a good candidate, encourage him of her to volunteer. If you are willing to represent your fellow students send an email about it to studentveiledning@medisin.uio
At this point the first two volunteering will be automatically elected. An exchange student can also be representative or deputy, but it is beneficial if one can communicate in Norwegian/Swedish/Danish.

Leidar Film is producing a film series about menopause in collaboration with the Norwegian Women’s Public Health Association (Norske Kvinners Sanitetsforening). The project is supported by the Dam Foundation, and the films will be published on the Women’s Health Portal (Kvinnehelseportalen). One of the participants is Marianne Natvik, and we would like to film her while she is lecturing to the medical students. We are interested in hearing the questions and reflections that arise during the lecture, and we hope the students will be interested in taking part in the filming. Please see the attached consent form for filming, which we will also bring as a paper copy on Monday. We will of course avoid filming anyone who does not give consent.

Welcome to the Introduction Course in Pediatrics. This course will focus on key practical skills
you will need throughout the semester when you meet pediatric patients in the clinic.
We will begin with a short lecture providing general information about the clinical part of the
course and the four patient records you will complete during the semester. This session will
take place in one of the seminar rooms at Rikshospitalet.
After the lecture, we will go together to the Skills Centre (Ferdighetssenteret) for a series of
station-based learning sessions. There will be a total of five stations, each lasting 25 minutes,
with one short break in between. It will be an intensive day, so please make sure to eat well
beforehand.

Dear students,
Welcome to a new semester
Please note the following:
4 students will attend Module 6 from Campus South. They will have all their clinical teaching at S?rlandet Hospital, but will follow parts of the plenary sessions in Oslo via Zoom
Students are expected to attend plenary sessions in person. Only students present in allocated rooms at Ahus and Campus South can attend streamed teaching.
Students are not permitted to log on from anywhere else.
All plenary sessions take place at Rikshospitalet. When rooms in Ahus and Campus South are listed, this shows that the session will be streamed.
In Oslo, the days will largely be divided in half, with clinical teaching in the mornings and plenary sessions in the afternoons.
Some of the clinical teaching will not correspond with the listed time in the time schedule. This applies when students have individual rotations in a clinic....
