WNNLP'25 proceedings are out!

The WNNLP'25 proceedings are now published, please have a look at the PDF.

The workshop received 22 submissions, of which 19 (by 35 authors) have been accepted for publication as part of the WNNLP 2025 proceedings (this volume). Slides for all the presentations

The Programme Committee has selected the paper "Balancing Accuracy, Efficiency, and Training Cost in Runtime-Constrained Food Hazard Classification" by Aliaan Nadeem Azam, Soban Ali and Sander Harald S?vik for the WNNLP 2025 Best Paper award. In this paper, the authors study the trade-off between predictive performance and inference speeds for classification models. Their main contribution is a new metric that balances these two concerns.

The IN5550 course offered three obligatory assignments throughout the semester, with the maximum number of points gradually increasing for each of them (6, 12 and 14 correspondingly). This year, the Outstanding Coursework award goes to the team of Nora Winger Heggelund and Eivind Morris Bakke, who earned maximum points for all three assignments (32 total). The submission by Nora and Eivind also had the best performance in the obligatory 2 leaderboard.

Congratulations to all the award recipients (and runners-up)!

We remind that all the authors are encouraged to consider submitting their papers to one of the "real" NLP venues: conferences or journals. It was a pleasure to work with you.
