The exam is now published here. You will submit you answer in one pdf in inspera.
How do I cite the reflection notes from the lectures? Do I cite the authors of the note or the lecturer?
You can cite both, like this: (Authors of reflection note, Year; Lecturer, Year). Example: (Hustveit et al. 2024; Fossum 2024).
Are all the articles in Leganto part of the syllabus?
Yes, even those that are not listed up on the schedule of lectures. But remember that some full texts can only be found through links in the schedule.

Hi everyone,
On Thursday May 2, you will provide each other peer feedback on the reflection notes. You will then edit your notes based on the feedback, before you share it with the whole class.
In your feedback, please emphasize clarity and whether something should be added to the notes.
During the session, we will do the following actions:
- Each student reads the assigned reflection note (approx 15 min)
- In groups, give feedback (10 + 10 minutes)
We will do this twice (two rounds), so that everyone gets feedback from two other groups.

In the April 18th group session we will do the folllowing:
1. Go through some key concepts from the lecture on April 16th
2. Repeat the assignment on data that was done in the lecture, in groups. However, we will extend the assignment by reason around and discuss the data using UiOGPT.

Because the lecture with Riis was changed to April 30, the groups who were supposed to do notes for April 16 will do them April 30 instead.
This also means that peer feedback will be moved to May 2.

We will have a hands-on demonstration and exercise with the functionality available for researchers in helsedata.no.
As preparation we ask you to imagine that you are planning a research study (see below). You will use the helsedata.no platform to apply for access to the health care data you need for your research study. Prepare for the lecture by thinking through how you will design your study and which data you will need.

Assignment 3 is as follows:
Each group is assigned one of four guest lectures. The assignment is to write a 2-page reflection document of the lecture. This involves selecting the most important topics of the lecture, explain what is being said about these topics, and briefly relate the content to course framework.
Assignments per group can be found here.
Email the notes to both Alex (alexansk@ifi.uio.no) and Margunn (margunn@ifi.uio.no) by the end of the week the lecture is in. Email Alex if you need to extra time.
In the group session April 25, each group will provide feedback to two other groups. Based on the feedback, each group will edit their notes and send the results on email to the group teachers. All notes will then be shared to all groups.
