You can now find updated CSV files in the GoogleForms folder.

There, you can now also find a file named IN5060_questionnaire_noters that informs about problematic data that has been discovered so far. Some of it is repairable, other data should be removed. You can report further problems to Cagri.

And have you discovered that you can play back the facial landmarks from the JSON files if you want to? Go to the data collection page https://in5060.2groove.live and select Playback in the Data Controls (you must probably drag the invisible canvas away first). Upload a JSON file and watch a playback of the facial landmarks.

You can share the JSON files for the user study in the following Sharepoint/OneDrive folder at UiO:

The folder is shared with people at UiO, meaning that I expect that you must be logged in with your UiO user.

The user study uses web popups to show the forms that participants have to complete. Two points were discovered:

1. When you click the "Next" button, the following web page for the next session will be loaded, while the questionnaire for the previous session is loaded and shown asynchronously in a popup. Because of the asynchrony, the session ID shown on the top left of the page will be that of the new session, not the old one. So you should actually fill the session ID that was shown before into the questionnaire, not the new one. Please contact Cagri if you used the new session ID for any of your participants.
2. The questionnaires may not appear, it may hang, or may not show completely on the screen. In all of these cases, you can ignore the popup and go straight to the questionnaire. These are the links:

The code to conduct the user study is not ready yet. It will be handed out on Monday instead.

These is also no new lecture material today. We will be available in the lecture for any questions, and present some results from two recent user studies is there is interest.

The lecture on 25.October has suddenly vanished from the calendar, from the schedule and from TP. This must be a mistake. Until further notice, please expect that we will present the introduction to the user studies block on Friday as planned in the original schedule.

Update: this was an accident while trying to find us a bigger room. The lecture is now back.

The groups for providing feedback to each other as follows:

The videos for assignment 1 have been moved to a folder parallel to the upload folder for assignments. The folder is called "IN5060 - first assignment videos". You can find it through the link at bottom of the semester page.

No group session next Monday (30th of September), we will start the group session after we have the second assignment distributed next week.

The devilry system (https://devilry.ifi.uio.no/) is open for submission of the first assignments now. Please note that you will only upload the slides, and make sure you do not have more than 20 slides. Good luck!

I have not put the group IDs and group that will work together on Monday for the evaluation. Please change your video title with your group ID and come watching the others video so you can directly start discussing the content of the video. 

Unfortunately, we cannot use the group session on Monday for the lecture Simulation part II due to a collision. We are therefore continuing it on Friday 6th before presenting the assignment.

We will be having our second lecture on Friday (30th of August, 2024) and there will be no group sessions on the 26th of August, 2023.

We will be having our first lecture on Friday (23rd of August, 2024) so there will be no group sessions on the 19th of August, 2023.
