The candidate numbers have been generated this morning and you can get your number from studentweb.

The deliveries that contribute to your grade, i.e., P2B, P3B, P4B, and P5B must be anonymous and therefore you must only present in the delivery your candidate numbers.

For the other deliverables provide your name such that the TAs can give you feedback.

It is mandatory for all teams to use for your code development the github.uio.no repository we have created for you. Unfortunately, some teams did so far ignore this instruction that were presented in the first lecture of the course and is accessible via the handouts of the lecture.

From now on we will immediately raise a ?suspicion of cheating? for all teams that do not do have a proper development history in the repository. This means that we investigate each suspicion together with the study administration, including an oral exam like test whether the individuals under suspicion have done the development themselves. To pass this test it is a prerequisite that all individuals have done the implementation themselves.

The front page for the design deliverables should be generated with the following command:

Please use it - makes life easier, because it contains ?all we need!

We have for the course a Mattermost channel, which is an excellent means to find a team mate.

Please hurry to find your team mate and inform us via e-mail (goebel@ifi.uio.no, plageman@ifi.uio.no) with your two full names and your usernames in the body of the mail.

We start soon P1 and those individuals that have not reported their team to us by Tuesday 27th noon we will create random teams from all singles (called in Norwegian tvangsekteskap).

It is mandatory to fill and sign this declaration concerning the use of our course material and send it to goebel@ifi.uio.no and plageman@ifi.uio.no.

Without it we will give no access to the assignments.

We received this term substantially more registrations for the course than ever before. Obviously, we are happy about the popularity of the course. However, at the time of writing we have not enough resources to admit all that registered and needed to put several on a waiting list.

We are now working to get sufficient resources and intend to be able to admit also all on the waiting list and late registrations.

Therefore, we strongly recommend everyone to follow the group teaching and lectures starting Monday.?

The deadline for the first mandatory assignment is "soon"!

Please note that we start the lectures and group teaching from the first teaching week. There will be be given a lot of important information and tips in the first lecture and we start the first volunteer project (P0). P0 is designed to help you to set-up and get familiar with your development environment and get a fresh up of your Assembler skills.

Don't miss this! You will benefit the entire term from starting with us early!
