A WebID user is a user account that can be created by anyone and that can access the services that support WebID. WebID users can be used by external persons to access the web services without having to obtain UiO username and password.
Using WebID
A WebID group is a group of WebID users that have access to a service. Groups are created in the Keycloak admin interface and can be used in services that support WebID.
All those who do not have their own Feide or UiO user account need a WebID user if they are to access UiO web services that support WebID.
WebID automatically deletes user accounts that are no longer in use, so the user must be sure to stay updated.
