Additional terms of use for Google's AI services

These are special terms and conditions for using Google's AI services, such as NotebookLM and Gemini.?

For the use of AI services from Google, the general terms for the use of Google Workspace apply. Using Google Workspace requires you to consent to disclosing your username and email address to Google. You can withdraw this consent at any time.

In addition, there are specific terms that apply particularly to AI services.

1. You may not share documents that you do not have the rights to share.

All users of Google's AI services are responsible for respecting copyright laws. Do not share copyrighted content without the necessary rights to do so.?

Google reserves the right to delete content that is found to violate copyright laws.

2. You must ensure that you do not disclose documents containing data that is more sensitive than what the service is generally approved for.

Users are responsible for having made the necessary assessments or obtained the necessary approval for the processing of personal data. Personal data must not be processed in the service in violation of necessary assessments, approvals, recommendations, and/or ethical considerations.

3. You may not upload or share illegal content.

By uploading or sharing content in Google's AI services, all users of the service confirm that the content and its use comply with applicable laws. You may not upload or share material that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate.
