Join us for out clothes swap!

On Tuesday, April 21, we are hosting a clothing swap in the lobby of Georg Sverdrup’s House, in collaboration with the HumSam Library and SiO. The event is part of Week 17: Sustainability Week, which aims to help put the UN Sustainable Development Goals on the agenda.

Whether you want to refresh your wardrobe or clean out your closet, this is a great opportunity! By swapping clothes instead of buying new ones, you help reduce textile waste and extend the lifespan of your clothes.

What do I need to do?

Drop off clean, gently used clothes at the counter in the HumSam Library between Tuesday, April 7, and Friday, April 17.

You can find the HumSam Library’s staffed opening hours here!

Each person can drop off a maximum of 10 items and will receive one receipt per item.

Bring your receipts to the lobby of Georg Sverdrup’s House on Tuesday, April 21, between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM—and take your “new” clothes home.

Important Information

Make sure the clothes you donate are clean and in such good condition that you would feel comfortable giving them to a friend.

We accept all types of clothing (including hats, scarves/shawls, bags, and belts).

Unfortunately, we cannot accept jewelry, shoes, or underwear.
